ProfitMetrics Inc. was founded in 2002 in response to a key need: helping clients improve performance and profitability through better reporting. Our founders recognized that there had to be a better, faster way to get the right information into the minds of decision-makers. From the beginning, we have focused on helping companies reach their potential with high-visibility tools to improve performance.
R. Michael Haney, Co-Founder
Mr. Haney has worked as a management strategy consultant for Booz, Allen & Hamilton and Arthur D. Little, Inc. While with these firms, he sold and completed a number of strategy consulting projects for energy, chemicals, and manufacturing clients. He began his career at CS First Boston where he provided investment banking and financial analysis services to healthcare and public sector clients. He also held positions in sales, operations, and corporate strategy development at construction products manufacturing, energy and technology firms.
Mr. Haney holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
Mark S. Palmer, Co-Founder
Mr. Palmer has co-founded and held senior positions at companies focusing on software development and publishing. One of these companies was sold to Interliant, Inc., a leading web hosting firm, where he served as Director of Product Marketing. Earlier in his career, he was a consultant with Arthur D. Little, where he worked on numerous information technology, business intelligence, and energy projects, including the development of a corporate performance measurement system for YPF, Argentina’s largest company. Prior to founding ProfitMetrics, he held positions within two technology firms, including Vice President-eCommerce, and Director-Software Development.
Mr. Palmer received a B.A. in Economics from Rice University.
